62. 43. 89.

I don’t know how this started but one day while trying to talk to my dad, he started talking in numbers. Now, I think this was his way of telling me that he wasn’t paying attention to what I was saying because whatever I asked him ( I don’t remember what), all he said was “62.”

I was very confused so I asked him again and he said “43.”

Now this has become a thing. Whenever I ask him a question that he doesn’t fully understand or he didn’t hear part of, he just says a number. Then we start having conversation of just numbers.

45. 92. 39. 12.

September 29th. I love it.

Yay, love.

First up this week, sleeping in. I love it. Today, I actually slept in until around 9am. That very rarely happens these days. I’m usually up and going by 7am.  I need more mornings like that. I laid in bed, played my games on my iPad, and pet my dog. It was glorious.

I love it.

Next up, Big Bang Theory. I love it. I ordered seasons 5 and 6 this week and have spent the past two days catching up on season 6 because I couldn’t watch it live because I didn’t have cable. I’m glad at the way the show is progressing. Now, I just need to watch season 7 (or wait until it’s on DVD).

I love it.

Finally, being brave enough to order food over the phone. I love it. Yesterday, I had no desire to make anything for dinner (not that I had anything to make anyway). I ordered Chinese. On the phone. I let the delivery guy come to my house. I didn’t freak out. And I had enough Chinese for three meals.

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.

September 22nd. I love it.

You know the drill.

First thing up this week, my audience. I love it. When I am home, chances are I have Pandora blasting and my audience (Auggie and Scout) love listening to me sing. At least, I think they do because I’ve never gotten a complaint out of either of them. Lately my song has been “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.” Very fitting considering the things that both of my pets do for me everyday including but not limited to waking me up during nightmares, getting me out of the house, and acting as a calming influence when I am about to lose it.

I love it.

Next up, overtime. I love it. Now, while I would prefer a day or two off, I can’t complain about the extra money I’m making. Let’s face it, 25 hours of overtime is quite a bit of a bonus when I get paid on Friday.

I love it.

Finally, “The Awesomes”. I love it. The Hulu original show has two of my favorite things: Seth Meyers and Superheroes. I spent yesterday catching up on the episodes that I’ve missed and absolutely love it. It’s a little off beat but highly entertaining. Is it as good as “Superhero Squad?” The jury is still out.

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.

September 15th. I love it.

I can’t believe we’re already halfway through September.

First up this week, my new vacuum. I love it. With the addition of a dog in the house, I thought it was time to upgrade to an actual vacuum and let me say, it’s a great one. I had no idea how gross my carpets were. Plus, there’s a hose just for pet hair. My cleaning routine has been changed forever.

I love it.

Next up, talking animal movies. I love it. That was the theme for movie night this week. I watched “The Jungle Book: Mowgli’s Story”, “Gordy”, “Paulie”, and “Dr. Doolittle”. They were all movies that I loved as a kid, too and I totally remember why.

I love it.

Finally, venting with Rachel. I love it. Sometimes, you just need to tell people about your frustrations, even if they can’t do anything about it.

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.
