June 15th. I love it.

Great week.

First up this week, seeing TJ pitch live and in person. I love it. I haven’t seen him pitch live in three years and I made the special trip to Dallas just to see him. I was really hoping for a win (and he was too) but I’ll take a no-decision over a loss any day. That first win still alludes him (but he was so close yesterday), but it will happen!

I love it.

Next up, winning stuff. I love it. This week on Twitter, thanks to McDonald’s, I won a free tumbler and a coupon for a free iced coffee. I can’t wait to get them (even though I went to McD’s this morning – the only way I convinced myself to get out of bed). The good news is, they always have a bunch of contests so I may be able to win more stuff… like a year’s worth of iced coffee?

I love it.

Finally, reading. I love it. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, books are great. I got away from my usual rule of one book a week (because then nothing else gets done) and I read two. I read “Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe” and “Harriet the Spy.” Loved them both, even though I figured out the ending to A&D 30 pages in.  I’m more than halfway to my goal of 52 books.

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.
