October 19th. I love it.

Considering the string of weeks I’ve been having, this one wasn’t so bad.

First up this week, book fairs. I love it. The Jefferson Parish Library had a book fair this week and it was glorious. There were over 65,000 books, movies, and CDs there and they were all super cheap. I went on Thursday after work, spent an hour there combing through the books and bought 14 of them for $18. What a deal. Well, I had a reliable source that said since today was the last day of the sale, all of the books were half price. How could I pass it up? I went today after work and bought another 16 books for $7. And I got some good ones; The Lord of the Rings Trilogy for a quarter each, The Help, Kite Runner, Rocket Boys, Hoot, DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons (a quarter each again), and Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters (probably the one I’m looking forward to the most).

I love it.

Next up, having Netflix in my room. I love it. I haven’t been feeling great lately (my dad left with with some sort of sickness he had while he was visiting), so I set up my Xbox 360 in my room on Friday. It worked out perfectly yesterday because when I got home from work, I had no interest in doing anything. I ended up laying in bed and watching “Merlin” for 6 hours and then I fell asleep. The good news is that I finally bought a remote for the TV in my room (because it is an old TV gifted to me before I had bought a TV) so now I don’t even have to get out of bed if I fall asleep with the TV on.

I love it.

Finally, wearing sweatshirts to work. I love it. After the crazy hot summer we had, I have been looking forward to this fall. Obviously, fall comes later here (I mean, it was 85 degrees a week ago), but this week alone, I wore a sweatshirt every morning. EVERY MORNING! This is the kind of weather my body was built for (and I’m excited that I can walk out of m house and not feel like I’m suffocating!

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.
