July 19th. I love it.

Love. It’s what’s happening.

First up this week, camping. I love it. This weekend, Brian and I took what I’m going to consider our only vacation of the summer (the rest of them were “trips” with planned activities). We drove to Gulf Shores, Alabama to spend some time AFK (in nerd speak, that means we didn’t have technology right in front of us). It was great to get away, have no plans, and do whatever we wanted. It also makes me feel good to know what we are perfectly fine living off of hot dogs and peanut butter sandwiches. We did manage to make a “gourmet” meal of chicken, potatoes, green beans, carrots, and onions thanks to the power of tin foil.

I love it.

Next up, the beach. I love it. One of the major reasons we even went camping was so we could get some beach time. The beach at Gulf Shores is so nice. White sand, sea shells, dolphins, and jellyfish. We played Frisbee, got some sun, and swam. The water was perfect.

I love it.

Finally, Chinese food. Let’s be honest; there is nothing better than coming home from vacation and having a dinner that you didn’t have to cook that also requires little to no dishes afterward. It hit the spot and was a great way to end the weekend.

I love it. It’s great. Everything’ great.

I love it.
