October 25th. I love it.

You know what? I had a great week.

First up this week, October Kiss. I love it. I loved Parenthood so I obviously had to see October Kiss because Sam Jaeger is my favorite. It’s your typical Hallmark movie, but absolutely adorable. It definitely got me in the Halloween mood!

I love it.

Next up, carving pumpkins. I love it. Last year I didn’t do anything for Halloween, but the year Brian bought a huge pumpkin! Today I scooped all of the inards out and Brian carved the face that I drew. It looks pretty spooky! Next year, we’re going to have a competition!

I love it.

Finally, our new pal Arthur. Last Subday, we stopped by Pet Fest and came home with a super chill, little Yorkie names Arthur. Like King Arthur. Or Arthur Conan Doyle. Or Arthur Read. He fits right in with the family and Yogi even likes him!

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.

October 18th. I love it.

Yay love!

First up this week, books. I love it. This weekend was the big book sale and of course I indulged. I bought 15 books for a small fee and Brian even found things he wanted too! Now I just need time to read all of them!

I love it.

Finally, iced coffee. I love it. Because of the bowling tournament we were hosting this weekend, I took the opportunity to get coffee every morning. Three straight mornings of McDonald’s coffee (well, I did get Wendy’s one morning and it was awful).

I love it.

Finally, Oktoberfest. I love it. On Saturday we went to Rivertown and ate really good food, listened to a really fun band, and watched really drunk people dance. Even though I as exhausted from working (and Brian had to wake me up and remind me where we were going), it was really fun!

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.

October 11th. I love it.

Love it the best, right?

First up this week, “The Martian.” I love it. I will admit, I did not read the book before I saw the movie which is totally out of character for me. I know, I know, the book is always better than the movie┬ábut the movie was amazing! Matt Damon did a great job; it was heartbreaking, funny, and exciting all at once. I think I’m going to read the book now!

I love it.

Next up, audiobooks. I love it. I found out that I can rent digital audio books through an app with my library cards. Can you say game changer? In just 4 days, I got through 2 books; “Stories I Only Tell My Friends” by Rob Lowe and “Not My Father’s Son” by Alan Cummings. Both of those guys are actors that I love and I had no idea how crazy their lives were growing up. Some of the stories absolutely broke my heart but to know that they come out on top makes me incredibly happy.

I love it.

Finally, spending the day with Lupita and Diana. I love it. I had the day off on Thursday so I called Diana and asked if she wanted to do something. We ended up at Hobby Lobby (which is quickly becoming one of my favorite stores). I could walk around that store all day long. So many crafts to do! I got all of the supplies I need for a project I’m working on and then we hit Taco Bell and went to my house so they could meet Yogi. This week wasn’t exceptional, but hanging out with two of my favorite people definitely helped.

I love it. It’s great. Everything’ great.

I love it.

October 4th. I love it.

Yay, love.

First up this week, naps. I love it. On days after we have home football games, I do my best to do absolutely nothing. It’s hard for me to sleep in because I get up so early every other day, so the fact that I slept until 8am today was amazing. It also helps when we don’t let Yogi in our room so he doesn’t wake us up. Even though I slept in “late”, I still managed to get Reset Sunday done before 10am.

I love it.

Next up, baking. I love it. Usually, Sunday is only Reset Sunday. Lately, I’ve been doing that and also trying to reinstitute baking Sunday. This week, it was pumpkin spice cookies. Delicious. The best part is that the house smelled wonderful afterward. I even made pasta salad and onion stuffed burgers. Yum!

I love it.

Finally, fall. I love it. This week was absolutely beautiful. It was cool and overcast and perfect for pumpkin spice donuts, toasted graham coffee, and sweatshirts. I love this time of year. I can only hope that the weather stays like this. Is it Halloween yet?

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.
