March 11th. I love it.

So much love, friends. So much.

First up this week, snowballs. I love it. I don’t mean actual snowballs like my family up north have been experiencing. I mean the most best part the summer in New Orleans. My first snowball of the season was from Casey’s and it was stuffed root beer. Yesterday I went to Ro-Bear’s and got a stuffed Hawaiian punch. Snowballs are my favorite. I’m thinking I need to do a tour of all of the go-to spots this summer.

I love it.

Next up, winning medals. I love it. I had my first tae kwon do tournament in Slidell this weekend and I didn’t do so bad if I do say so myself. I took third place in my form and third place in board breaking. Now that I know how the competition works now, I think I’ll do better next time. The competition was fierce (you should have seen the person I had to spar – so scary).

I love it.

Finally, reading at the park. I love it. Yesterday was the first time this year that I was able to take my book, blanket, and coffee to Lafreniere Park to get some reading done. It was a little chilly and it started to rain but I got a solid hour of relaxation in before I had to pack up and leave. I’m glad the weather is finally getting better so I can spend more time outside.

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.
