November 27th. I love it.

First up this week, Thanksgiving. I love it. This is the first year in a while that I’ve spent the day with family. I flew to NC and spent a few days relaxing and eating. So much eating. We had a smoked turkey, green bean casserole, and I even made two pecan pies. The leftovers were just as good.

I love it.

Next up, the mountains. I love it. While on North Carolina this week, we stayed at this awesome house on a vineyard. Sitting on the back porch gave you a great view of the mountains. The house was really nice too and we watched a ton of movies and drank a lot of coffee.

I love it.

Finally, Christmas music. I love it. It’s finally okay for me to listen to my favorite genre of music! I enjoyed it during my flights yesterday and today I watched my first official Christmas movie of the year, Snow Day. Okay, not a traditional Christmas movie but one of my favorites.

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.

November 20th. I love it.

Totally forgot to write last week, friends. So sorry.

First up, my new apartment. My last apartment had two bedrooms and two bathrooms which was nice when Bud was still here, but I couldn’t afford it anymore. Last week I moved into a studio and it’s the perfect size for all of my stuff! Now all I need to do is get used to it and start sleeping again and I’m good!

I love it.

Next up, sales. I love it. I went to Walmart yesterday and scored big with Disney Infinity characters! They’re usually $13 but I got them for $5 each! And I even got DI2 for $15. The game has been discontinued so everything is gonna go away fast!

I love it.

Finally, Room. I love it. It was my favorite movie up for an Oscar last year and I really wanted to read the book. I got it from the library and tore through it in 2 days. It might be my favorite book this year.

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.

October 30th. I love it.

Whirlwind week, friends!

First up this week, my Halloween costume. I love it! My mom is a dream maker so when I asked her to make me a Hufflepuff Quidditch robe last month, she went to task. This robe is amazing! It looks official and actually has a Gufflepuff patch on it! I’m pairing it with some Hufflepuff sweats and a t-shirt. So excited!

I love it.

Next up, seeing Bud! I love it! I’ve been thinking about doing it for a while, but thanks to some awesome people at work. I was able to take a road trip to visit Bud. I hadn’t seen him since August 7th and the thought of waiting another month was actually making me an emotional wreck. I drove 13 hours (should have been 11) and got to North Carolina early on Saturday (like, 2am). It was long but totally worth it! My dad even made a cameo yesterday to watch the World Series with us. I haven’t been more than a few steps away from Bud since I got here which will make leaving in the morning even harder.

I love it.

Finally, experiencing fall. I love it. Louisiana doesn’t really have a fall season, but Boone does! Since I’ve been here I’ve been overwhelmed with the colors of the trees and the mountains! I was also really glad that Bud and I were able to carve a pumpkin together (I wasn’t going to do one until to decided to visit). Plus, with my body type, I thrive in the colder weather so I was okay with the chilliness. I really miss changing seasons!

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.

September 18th. I love it.

Love. First up this week, small classes. I love it. I know I can’t complain about having classes of 35 kids, but those day when I only have 12 are magical. They get along better. They are less aggressive, and those kids that don’t like to participate come out of their shells. It’s one of those teacher wins.

I love it.

Next up, finishing The Harry Potter Series. I love it. Before work yesterday, I finished the Deathly Hallows. So so and uplifting at the same time. Expect a blog about my thoughts later this week. Today o even watched the movies to round it out.

I love it.

Finally, having dinner with Bud. I love it. Even though he lives so far away, I’m glad we can still take time to eat dinner together even if it is just over FaceTime. You don’t realize how important something like that is until you can’t do it anymore.

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.

July 31st. I love it.

I know I missed last week, but I was partying hard with Bud’s family, so this week will cover two weeks.

First up, lazy Sunday’s. I love it. I know I say that a lot but when Bud told me this morning that he wanted to be lazy today, I was so happy. We made Sunday brunch, went swimming, cleaned the house, and I finished a book. Perfect day to me. It will get even better when we order Chinese for dinner which means I don’t have to cook today either!

I love it.

Next up, being on vacation. I love it. This month has been great. I haven’t had to really work so I’ve been giving myself time to prepare for my new job but also taking it easy. I mean, I worked for over three years in a super fast-paced environment where my body was put through so much. A month of relaxing was definitely deserved. I start my new job officially tomorrow and I couldn’t be more excited (and scared)!

I love it.

Finally, Las Vegas. I love it. I honestly didn’t think I would and I’ll admit I almost lost my cool one night because of all of the people but overall, I had so much fun! Time at the pool, buffets, dolphins, white lions, and Bud’s family made it worth the trip. Bud and I are already planning another trip back.

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.

July 17th. I love it.

First up this week, The Wizard of Oz. I love it. River town put on another remarkable play filled with local talent. Oz is one of my favorite books/movies so I was excited to see it was coming. I love date nights at the theater with Bud!

I love it.

Next up, new furniture. I love it. This week, a bedroom set that Bud and I bought showed up. I feel like an adult. We finally have all of the furniture we need.

I love it.

Finally, Secret Life of Pets. I love it. Super cute movie. I really want to know what Yogi and Maisy do when we’re gone.

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.

July 10th. I love it.

You thought I forgot, didn’t you?

First up this week, Pokemon Go! I love it. It’s like living out a childhood dream. I’ve been catching Pokemon left and right in my backyard with this awesome app. I’m making sure I stay safe, though, and stay aware of my surroundings as not to get hit by a car or cause a major crash. I mostly let them come to me. So fun!

I love it.

Next up, surprised from my dad. I love it. I was a little bummed knowing that when I was home this week that I wouldn’t get to see my dad. He was just home last week and I saw him in April, so I didn’t want to be selfish. Well, wouldn’t you know that I woke up on Saturday and he was sitting in his spot on the couch acting like he was here the whole time.  I’m thankful I got to see him!

I love it.

Finally, being home. I love it. These trips are always so short but we manage to fit a lot in like Indians games, dinner with Grandma, visiting with the Hookigans and neighbor girls, plenty of BBQ, and hugging my mom every time I saw her. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.
