October 15th. I love it.

Halfway through the month to my favorite holiday of the year!

First thing up this week, reading parties. I love it. On Friday, I hosted the best kind of party there is – a Reading Party! That’s literally what it is. People come over and you read. There’s not a lot of conversation unless it has to do with the book you’re reading and you can go 45 minutes without even acknowledging each other. Isn’t that great? We weren’t even reading the same books so you can’t even call it a book club. We did make alcoholic peach smoothies and play with my cats. I’ll be hosting one again soon, I’m sure!

I love it.

Next up, passing my first grad school class. I love it. I got my final grade back for my first class, Curriculum Design, and I aced it. 100%. Even with a final paper that could have been way better. I just hope that the rest of my classes are this easy.

I love it.

Finally, Halloween movie marathons. I love it. I’ve ben on a cleaning spree all day and I think it’s been fueled by Halloween movies. After I caught up on all of my shows for the week, I took to Netflix. I’ve watched “Coraline” and “Sleepy Hollow.” “The Nightmare Before Christmas” is next, probably followed by another movie or reading. Halloween is my favorite time of year! I’ve been waiting 11 months for this!

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.

August 14th. I love it.

Interesting week friends, but here’s what I love.

First up, the Olympics. I love it. As the rest of the world is, my TV has been tuned to nothing but the Olympics for the last week. Between gymnastics, swimming, handball,  table tennis, water polo, and cycling, I don’t think I’ve ever been so glued to the TV. It’s a great way to destress before school starts and it’s nice to know that all of my friends are watching, too.

I love it.

Next up, throwback movies. I love it. I’m in the process of reading “The Secret Garden” but I couldn’t resist watching the movie already. It was one of my favorites growing up and based on what I’ve read of the book so far, the movie is pretty accurate, which is quite refreshing. I’m reading Harry Potter, too and they always don’t have time to put all of the things I think are important in there.

I love it.

Finally, Yogi! I love him. Today is his “Gotcha Day!” A year ago today, I went to the vet’s office on the way home (without telling Bud) and decided to bring the curious little fur ball that I met there home with me. It was an interesting first night, but now  I couldn’t imagine life without him. And let’s just say I’m so glad Bud ended up liking him, too.

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.

Here’s the deal friends. I wish I wrote more. It’s one of my favorite things to do and I haven’t been doing a good job of making sure I take time to do it lately. That is any I’m doing the 30 Day Blogging Challenge. The blogs you’ll read in the next month will be random and opinionated, but hey, it’s my blog; I do what I want.

June 5th. I love it.

The holiday last weekend screwed me up so my apologies for not writing my blog last week. Here’s what I have to love this week:

First up, presents. I love them. Who doesn’t? My sister found these super cute Wizard of Oz dolls of the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion and sent them to me, along with Jelly Bellies that last like pancakes and maple syrup, and a Proud to Teach P.E. bracelet.

I love it.

Next up, my new job. I love it. If you were confused by the present my sister sent me about teaching P.E., be confused no more. I’m happy to announce that I took a job with St. Martin’s Episcopal School where I will be teaching Physical Education. To say I’m excited is an understatement. I can’t wait to start my new career!

I love it.

Finally, Snap Chat. I love it. I’ll admit that I hated it at one point. But since Bud has been traveling so much with the Tulane Baseball team, it actually makes things fun and easy as far as communication. I probably annoy him with how much I send him, but just think of all of the kitty cuteness he’s missing! Yogi and Maisy miss him, too.

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.

Text to my boyfriend who was gone all day:

“When you come home, it may seem like I haven’t moved all day, but I promise I have. I even left the house.”

I’m only telling him this because when he left at 12:50pm today, I was laying on the couch with the cats watching “Cops” and that’s what he’ll see when he comes home at 6:30pm. I did change the channel for a while so I could watch “Curious George” and “Arthur.”

Don’t judge.

I’m on vacation.

I can do what I want.
