April 2nd. I love it.

How is it April already, friends?

First up this week, sno-balls. I love it! It’s finally sno-ball season and if you don’t know what they are, think snow cones but way better. I went to my ferrite stop yesterday, Ro-Bear’s, with Lupita, Sonia, and Diana. I actually went with the intention of getting an orange flavored one but as you can expect with so many different choices, I changed my mind 7 times while waiting in line and ended up getting sour apple. So good!

I love it.

Next up, barbecues. I love it. While hanging out with my favorite friends yesterday (see above paragraph), I noticed that they had a grill. Apparently they’d had it for a while and I was too daft to notice so this prompted the idea of having a cook out! We had burgers and corn on the cob and my favorite kind of potato chips. I even got to love on Sonia for the first time (every other time I’d seen her since she was born 2 months ago, I was sick or just staying for a minute). Family dinner nights are my favorite!

I love it.

Finally, baseball season. I love it. Baseball is officially back! Today, I’m watching the Ray and Yankees play. It’s fun to see Chris Archer, one of my favorite on the mound. I’m glad I have something to watch again!

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.

July 31st. I love it.

I know I missed last week, but I was partying hard with Bud’s family, so this week will cover two weeks.

First up, lazy Sunday’s. I love it. I know I say that a lot but when Bud told me this morning that he wanted to be lazy today, I was so happy. We made Sunday brunch, went swimming, cleaned the house, and I finished a book. Perfect day to me. It will get even better when we order Chinese for dinner which means I don’t have to cook today either!

I love it.

Next up, being on vacation. I love it. This month has been great. I haven’t had to really work so I’ve been giving myself time to prepare for my new job but also taking it easy. I mean, I worked for over three years in a super fast-paced environment where my body was put through so much. A month of relaxing was definitely deserved. I start my new job officially tomorrow and I couldn’t be more excited (and scared)!

I love it.

Finally, Las Vegas. I love it. I honestly didn’t think I would and I’ll admit I almost lost my cool one night because of all of the people but overall, I had so much fun! Time at the pool, buffets, dolphins, white lions, and Bud’s family made it worth the trip. Bud and I are already planning another trip back.

I love it. It’s great. Everything’s great.

I love it.

Day 13: If I Won the Lottery

The lottery is a topic often brought up in our house. My grandma has always played scratch offs and I’ve been yearning to get on Wheel of Fortune one day. We always say, “If I won money, I would”, so maybe it’s time to share with you my plan.

First things first, I would pay off my student loan debt as well as my siblings’. This is an agreement we all have because we are all aware of how much of a burden it is and we’d like to save each other from that.

After student loans, I’d pay off any debts that my parents or Grandma have. Let’s face it; I’m probably the reason they are in debt so I should probably pay them back for it. This would include helping my dad pay off his restaurant and pay off my mom’s house so she can go live with my dad without worrying.

Once all debts are paid off, money would go into savings for future children that I have so they can go to college and not leave $60,000 in debt. I hope that even if I don’t win the lottery, I can get to a place where I can put money away for them.

Other than that, I would splurge now and then on trips to visit family. I wouldn’t change much about my lifestyle because for the most part, I live comfortably. Just getting rid of some of the worries of being an adult would be a complete game changer.
